One of my EWI students, wanted to work on Guqin, an meditative style of music. The performance was based on a melody written, perhaps, 500 years ago. Digital Performer makes it easy to print a score and to use Native Instruments Kontakt to layer nylon and steel stringed guitar samples. With a bit of detuning and a gong the transcribed parts begin to have the appropriate Eastern flavor.
The transcription is based on Plum Blossom.

One of my students is working on Ohio Street a duet written by noted saxophonist Greg Fishman, from his book "Jazz Saxophone Duets."
Fishman writes some great post-bop heads over interesting chord progressions. His changes often have chord extensions which are great for improvistation but the duets are intended for advancing players and on the included disk, the band plays Ohio Street up tempo - quarter note = 192 bpm.
To work on Ohio, I put together several play alongs, here's the first 8 bars @ 80 bpm
